Royal Chicken Recipe- Ingredients:
- Chicken-3 pounds
- Desi Ghee-75 gms
- Onions- 100 gms
- Green Cardamom-6(Small)
- Black Cardamom-2(Big)
- Black pepper
- Cloves-3
- Cinnamon-1 Stick
- Ginger & Garlic Paste-25 Gms
- Coriander-10 gms
- Turmeric- 1/2 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder (as per your taste)
- Yogurt-100 gms
- Salt to taste
- Cream- 60 gms
- Nutmeg-1/2
Procedure to make this recipe:
Put the yogurt into a bowl and beat it lightly. Add 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, some black pepper, coriander, Mix and set aside.
Clean, remove the skin and debone the chicken.
Cut each breast into three equal sized pieces.
Wash them and pat to dry.
Heat ghee in a pan.Add Onions, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves and cinnamon.
Fry over medium heat till onions becomes transculent and glossy.
Add Ginger garlic paste Stir for 30 secs and add coriander , turmeric and red chilli powder and stir it.
Then add chicken pieces, Salt and stir Well till pieces turns into brown on both sides and remove to a large bowl.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer.
Stir constantly so that onions are mashed properly.
Remove pan from heat.
Add the seasoned yogurt and return the pan to heat and stir fry until the liquid evaporates.
Cover it with the lid and let it simmer. Stir occasionally for 5mins.
Add grated nutmeg and stir it well.
Cover it and let it simmer over very low heat till the gravy is of thin sauce type.Adjust seasoning and remove it from the heat.
Garnish with Coriander and cream and Serve with phulka.
